Neurodiversity and Relationality

This workshop will examine the experience of relationality through a neurodivergent lens. Facilitating a critical look at societal norms around relating and reflecting on the universal aspects of being a relational being. We will also examine how these concepts can inform therapeutic practice with neurodivergent individuals and couples, as well as more broadly discussing how best to support neurodivergent individuals and couples exploring relational issues.

Ruth is a neurodivergent counselling psychologist and existential psychotherapist. She is the course leader for the postgraduate programmes in neurodiversity at The New School of Psychotherapy and Counselling. Ruth has worked with neurodivergent individuals, couples and families for 18 years. She currently works in private practice, as well as running online groups, training and consultancy. Ruth specialises in working with LGBTQIA+ neurodivergent people, and supporting neurodivergent practitioners develop their skill and confidence. 

This workshop is online and includes a CPD certificate.
