The Existential Crisis of Motherhood

  • Zoom
  • 27th May '22 11.00 am – 1.00 pm

Drawing on her research and work with mothers, Dr Claire Arnold-Baker will explore the existential themes that emerge in the transition to motherhood.  She will demonstrate how the experience of motherhood leaves women feeling 'not at home' in their lives which leads to an existential crisis.  Claire will show how reframing the experience in these ways can be helpful for women  in making sense of their experiences and finding meaning in their lives.

This workshop is open to all, but may be of benefit to those working in the perinatal field.

The workshop will be delivered online via zoom.
